A really strong Sunderland performance, it could’ve been more comfortable if not for Johansson who was Stoke’s best player.

It was Tommy Watson’s day, well deserved after some good performances. Also, Isidor will start scoring again soon I think. Big week ahead.

This is my own idea rather than looking at xG numbers for 9s in the Championship. Looking at where they shoot their shots on target and it’s not a coincidence the 9s that consistently aim for the corners score more goals

Gutted about that, but so many positives to take from the performance. Probably one of our best displays of the season, particularly given the context of the game too.
