Yoshi said they're hoping to release a matchmaking/ranked update in a few weeks. Here's what I think should be in it, in no order:

- Separate ranked/unranked modes
- 'Accept Match' button
- Placement matches for ranked
- Pre-match strategy phase for lane selection to prevent swaps
- Clear progress on your rank for wins/losses (no more winning 5 matches, gaining 1 rank, losing 1 game, losing 1 rank)
