It is worth noting that we have never witnessed Members of Parliament, Senators, or MCAs in Kenya demonstrating over delayed salaries or unpaid benefits. This raises a critical question: why should ordinary citizens face such challenges, while elected leaders remain insulated from the very hardships affecting those they represent?
Every year, doctors, teachers, and lecturers, the backbone of our health and education systems ,are forced to protest over delayed pay and unresolved issues. Their demands are legitimate and vital to national progress.

Leaders are elected to protect public interests, uphold the Constitution, and ensure government services work for all. They must address these systemic challenges and deliver for every sector, not just themselves.

That university students cannot protest alone,nobody is going to listen to them,Lecturers cannot protest alone,Doctors cannot protest alone,Civil servants with 9 months unpaid salaries cannot protest alone,Teachers cannot protest alone,Unemployed youths cant protest alone.

To have a fruitful outcome from a protest,All of us must come together as Kenyans. Because its one government that is causing all this,a government that has clearly failed.

We must have a structural agenda,that embodys all our needs as kenyans. From high cost of living,to Unchecked budgeted corruption,to delayed salaries because 92% of tax collected is going to service external debt that never benefited us. This way,the transitional government that will take over from the abolished one,will have a clear blueprint on what nail to hit first and why.

And remember,when a democratically elected government becomes ineffective and fails to meet its objectives,it is the mandate of the people to abolish it and institute one that is effective. Let us grab our gears!
