Elaine has found volunteering to be highly rewarding and enjoys speaking to other people, both service users and other volunteers.
Thanks for all you do with us!
#VolunteersWeek
She enjoys meeting others and hopefully helping them. Volunteering with us has helped her learn more about various types of cancer and how they affect people.

Our Complementary Therapist, Gill, completed the London Marathon! We're so proud of her achievement and she has raised around £1200 for Macmillan Cancer Support. We are so thankful to her for choosing Macmillan as her charity and so pleased that she finished the marathon safely.
Our volunteers, Marion and Liz, who run our Good Grief group held a fundraising event for Macmillan Cancer Support and raised £621!
Their tombola, raffles and more were a massive success. Shoutout also to Richard at the Studio Café and the local community for donations too.
We're very excited for our Complementary Therapist at #CoatbridgeLib, Gillian.
She is taking part in this year's #LondonMarathon on Sunday and fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The MacLan team are very proud!

Thank you to Dr McAlpine and his staff for hosting and to our volunteers Mary, Isobel, Kay and May
Today we launched our new complementary therapy service in Coatbridge Library. Our Oncology Complementary Therapy Volunteer, Gill, was on hand to help service users.
A massive thanks must go to Kirby Group Engineering Ltd for the donations that helped create this service.
The company have gone above and beyond anyone’s expectations. A big thank you to Kirby as their donations allow us to offer various complementary treatments to people affected by cancer in the local area.
We met with some of the staff from Kirby Group Engineering Ltd in Strathclyde Business Park, Bellshill this morning and accepted their amazing donations.
Today the ladies from Kirby Group Engineering Ltd donated everything we need to be able to offer the new service, plus care bags for people affected by cancer and a £1000 donation to Macmillan Cancer Support for use in the Lanarkshire area.
Our Macmillan in Lanarkshire volunteer, Clare, was recently invited onto @OfficialCamGlen Radio. You can listen to her star moment using the link below:
