CAS in July'21 had reduced the initial sanction on mitigating grounds of a primary offence committed passively, one of the few instances of revising a federation granted sanction on appeal.

Another #FakeMatch scheme. Villagers dressed up in Tshirts of famous Indian teams, HD cameras broadcasting the matches, noise added to mimic crowds, a fake commentator, etc. The masterminds seem to be from Russia; the fraud was directed at Russian punters.
