@PhysicistTx@AnthonyGalli@BarackObama Michael,
Come clean here.
Don't judge Judaism/Christianity upon a few Jewish/Christian terrorists.
Judge it based on their "holy book" (I.e., the Old Testament"): Leviticus 44-46; Exodus 21:20-21; Exodus 21:7; Samuel 15:3; Deuteronomy 20:16-17; Number 31:17-18, etc.
@_giacomo_volpe_@BuffyWicks@HACdotorg In addition to Umberg, Senate Pres. Pro Tem Monique Limon was key in holding up the bill and letting the clock run out.
@SusanDReynolds Chan, like her mentor, arch-NIMBY Aaron Peskin, has been a do-nothing obstructionist her entire political career.
She is a reactionary masquerading as a “progressive”; a poster-child for the failed status quo.

@SusanDReynolds He is the only candidate with the legislative chops to get things done and would be an outstanding Congressional Representative for CA D11.
Connie Chan, on the other hand, hasn’t authored a single solitary piece of significant legislation.

@bobbyfijan FYI, per the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (CTCAC) regulations, this unit plan is non-compliant and could not be financed for "affordable" housing purposes since it doesn't have enough bathrooms.
@fljczk@JerusalemDemsas Scott Wiener is currently a state elected official, i.e. he is not a member of Congress. Accordingly, he cannot initiate or take part in any federal legislative action regarding foreign policy. Once he is elected as the new Representative for CA D11, he will be able to do so.
@PatriotWok6380@CSElmendorf Correct, there is no reason that both cannot be https://t.co/2LGHgPSfU1 Professor Elmendorf points out, they are best done in close proximity.
@jakedecker@CSElmendorf Rick Caruso had a development proposal for the property in the early 2000's, but, due to local resistance, he gave up around 2006.
@mnolangray How are the 6 units financed/subsidized to allow their sale at 40% of the local median price and are they deed restricted accordingly to maintain permanent "affordability"?
@yvettecorkrean@Scott_Wiener Yvette,
Per the developers preliminary application for the Geary & Webster site, a new grocery store space is provided for. Anyone who's interested can see this on the Planning Dept's website.
@RobertB04028123@CSElmendorf No problem at all -- since inclusionary units must be provided by local law, the corresponding use of state law would allow a "point-block: building (with limited footprint) that could easily achieve the requisite units while minimizing disruption to the site
@RobertB04028123@CSElmendorf In your excerpts from HCD's letter, there is no mention of an EIR being required.
An EIR is not necessary to determine the availability of water, sewer, fire/emergency access or to locate subterranean features that might constrain buildable area.
@DRand2024@ArmandDoma Though the end of 2025 Factory OS (renamed Harbinger Homes in 2024) has produced 4000 dwelling units since their founding in 2018. This works out to a little less than 600 units per year -- pretty much a drop in a vast bucket of need.
