Yes! One test does not define a students hard work or knowledge. I know because I am that student that struggled with ALL standardized testing. I know some are required but it does not show what the student knows. We need to focus more on their class work and class grades!!

If we can suspend the NBA, golf, and NHL as well as cancel the NCAA tournament, then why can’t we cancel standardized testing for one year!

This really irritates me. Honestly, excerise increases students test score because it give them a good brain break. Students need that!

A superintendent (I won’t name to protect the guilty :) of a major school system said a few years ago that test scores aren’t increased on the playground. If you’re a superintendent, please don’t have this mindset.

One of the most unique tools that I have learned and used is Kahoot. Not only is this a fun and interactive program that students can use, but it is also a wonderful tool for teachers to use when reviewing before a summative or formative test.
