Life in Bangalore as an Engineer on a Normal Weekday
6:30 AM – Wake up and check Google Maps before brushing your teeth
7:30 AM – Leave for the office
9:30 AM – Reach the office after surviving Bangalore traffic
10:00 AM – First chai & sutta. Open Slack. Meetings begin.
1:00 PM – Lunch with colleagues
4:30 PM – Coffee break. Somehow the conversation ends up being about AI replacing jobs
6:30 PM – Work ends
6:35 PM – Start the journey home
8:30 PM – Still stuck in traffic😭
9:15 PM – Think, "Should I quit and build my own startup?"
9:30 PM – Open LinkedIn. Another "Excited to share..." post about a ₹1 Cr package. 💀
11:00 PM – Friends text: "Koramangala or Indiranagar?" 🍻
12:30 AM – Sleep... dreaming about ESOPs, funding, switching companies, and escaping Bangalore traffic.
Bangalore teaches you one thing very quickly: you're either stuck in traffic, building a startup, preparing to switch jobs, or somehow doing all three at the same time.

@puram_politics Thank you 🙏🏾 this nonsense metric of “build IT PARKs” , “increase FSI” = Great city should be quashed. A city shud rather have affordable , more spread out public parks and other third spaces for the masses. God knows whats this obsession with concrete and glass
@Indicfederr0d JOBS are not the ONLY SIGN which makes a city good or bad. There are several factors which makes a city GOOD. Jobs is just one among them
@Indicfederr0d Except for the climate & job opportunities. Mind you, i love blore , it has given the opportunities i have. But that doesnt mean we cant do a better job of making the paradise it was and that doesnt also mean we can pile on chennai
@Indicfederr0d Yes the jobs are here i agree. That does not mean the city is BETTER. Blore has a lot of infra problems which are driven by this explosion of population and unplanned expansion has reduced its beauty. At this current state, blore is no way better than chennai
@Indicfederr0d Dividers on the road. These are never cleaned and to top it all, blore is the pothole capital of india. So
Yes, its CLEAR THAT YOU DO NOT LIVE OR WORK AT MANYATA. So stop this negative bullshit on chennai. It is good in its own way and in many ways better
@Indicfederr0d Step out of manyata, take a bus and start going to tin factory metro station (about 30 mins in bus from manyata). On the way , absolutely and completely , you will see garbage on broken footpaths every 50 metres. Next, god knows when the dust and soil collected at the bottom of
Huge rant alert - EXPERIENCE AT prestige falcon greens restaurant near nandi hills
First of all i want to clear that the view is fantastic as the restaurant exactly faces nandi hills. Apart from that , i feel the hospitality was the main issue at the restaurant.
-Calling it a "Thug Life moment"
-Using a Credit Card to like up the powder
-Having a 500₹ note
-No kid in sight. Rather, no sick kid in sight as per their "doctor's" version
-If it were a soluble tablet, you only need to drop it in a glass of water
-It's clear TN is a mess!
