@KyleDaSloth @bigsportfan11 @BB_Bundy@CultureCrave If you watched game of thrones all of this is mentioned at some point. Joffrey mentions a lot of what happens to characters you’ve already seen in KotSK. I mean you’ll have heard the song Jenny of Oldstones, did you not notice what that was about?
Just binged the whole series of The Chair Company .
A man’s chair breaks and he tries to contact the company that makes them, that’s the plot.
Insanely tense but with the lowest stakes and I have absolutely no clue where it’s going.
The absolute definition of absurd, I loved it!
Went to Odeon Screen Unseen and it turned out to be The Running Man.
Wouldn’t have gone out my way to have seen it so it was interesting to be forced to see it.
Shame it didn’t make me want to watch it again.
@Mr_Fanalis@HMeluncurr@hotrod_521 These people would get a brain hemorrhage watching Naruto with this kind of mentality. Lots of scenes with just essentially moving cells but when the episode required it you got quality. This season is mostly set up for when they gotta give us something that requires it.
Summer Film Fest No. 25 - The Master
I need to see his other works cos this film is hard to judge as it’s shot on 65mm, everything looks great and it has a STACKED cast! I’ll watch Joaquin Phoenix & Philip Seymour Hoffman just acting the shit out of each other and that is unfair
Summer film fest No. 24 - After Life (ワンダフルライフ)
A film following the workers of purgatory where each week new dead arrive with 3 days to pick one memory to take with them into the afterlife.
Loved this one a lot!!
Summer film fest No. 23 - Crimes of the Future
This is the 2022 film not the 1970 one that Cronenberg also did. 🤷🏻♂️
Back to body horror but I wouldn’t blame someone saying this is tame for him. It has an interesting plot and something to say. Maybe a bit longer than needed.
Summer film fest No. 22 - Anti-Clock
The most experimental watch I’ve had in a while. Very interesting video editing, which was rather revolutionary at the time. The plot is almost incomprehensible but I admire what it was trying to do.
Summer film fest No. 21 - Akira Kurosawa's Dreams (夢)
Eight vignettes of different dreams. Its Kurosawa so it’s obviously well shot and I really enjoyed most of the individual dreams but a couple didn’t hit that well but it’s all subjective. 4K experience so the colours POPPED!
Summer film fest No. 20 - Together
Really enjoyed Alison Brie and Dave Franco, would love to see them together in more things.
I enjoyed this but sadly I had seen the trailer and the trailer will basically tell you everything. So avoid it if you can.
Summer film fest No. 19 - Memories
3 anime short films from 1995, so you know it’s the best animation! The first story is obviously my favourite.
I miss 90s animation, it peaked, gorgeous airbrushed backgrounds. You just don’t get darkness and shadows like this anymore.
Summer film fest No. 17 - The Seventh Seal
An obvious one again.
So after finally deciding to watch the Korean dvd I bought of this because I couldn’t find an English copy and then sat on it for 10 years (no joke) I was fully invested! A classic!
