There is no better buy low spot then tomorrow against the twins who are without Byron Buxton and the Guardians bullpen being drained

As I’m typing this the Guardians had deployed SEVEN arms out the pen

Gavin’s last start at Home on July 3rd vs Chicago there was a rain delay which ended his outing early needing 5 arms to cover extra innings. Gavin got pulled early due to rain where he threw just 79 pitches and we know this is an arm capable of 100+ any start

Two days later on the 5th Bibee struggled leading the pen to use 7 arms covering 5 Innings

Just an insane amount of usage over the last few days

To start off though this is a early day start where wind is blowing in at Target Field which should help with the harder contact given up

Against RHP at Home over the L30 days the Twins rank 3rd Lowest in BB% but 7th Highest in wRC+ but this Twins lineup is without Byron Buxton who is by far their best Slugger who is also 4 - 10 lifetime of Gavin which alleviates a lot of power out this lineup

Another aspect I like is Gavin doesn’t have significant home vs away splits posting the same K%, slightly worse BB% at 8.9% compared to 7.7% and a similar WHIP at 1.22 vs 1.15

Still posting some of the best underlying metrics in Baseball with a 3.25 xFIP and 3.44 SIERA ranking Top 10 and Top 15 amongst qualified pitchers

I’m trusting one of the most durable arms in Baseball to bring length
