Normani gets candid about setbacks that cut the ‘Dopamine’ era short:
“If I’m being transparent, I know that you guys were frustrated. Imagine that times 10 for me. I feel, like, there were such heartaches and heartbreaks that I felt I went through, just in terms of the process of having all these things lined up and aspirations, and things we talked about and aiming towards that didn’t come into fruition. I think, for me, in real time, I was navigating and felt like- I don’t want to say that I let you guys down- but you deserve so much more.”
like everyone selling 10k everytime bc theres only 10k people left in the world that actually buy albums.
its kinda like souvenirs in a way. like if you stan an artist you might buy it just to keep for the sentimental value but other than that, no one is gonna buy albums like
im tired of everyone discussing album sales for every artist when literally everyone "flops" because no one in this day of age even buys full albums anymore. we all literally stream music. the album sales debachery is becoming an obsolete topic of discussion.
