https://t.co/3boQc76WpY should the student who didn't bring a gun be arrested or should they just be let off with a warning? I know this hits close to home but I think it's important to discuss #erhslang22
@srirracha_29 If you read the bill it does not say that students aren't allowed to talk about sexual identity, it says that teachers aren't allowed to teach it. It's similar to religion, Florida doesn't want teachers to impose beliefs on their students. Students can discuss it all they want.
@alexislikesoats I definitely think that making the decision on any mandates should be based off of individual businesses and that it's messy when you make a pandemic political as we've seen recently. If it was a human safety concern outside of the government people might be more sympathetic.
https://t.co/gFtQ8jOEeK Florida is passing a bill that would prohibit their young children to be taught about sexual orientation. The media calls it the "Don't Say Gay Bill" is this an appropriate title for the bill? #erhslang22
@LeahG0514 I don't think this unfairly targets the gay community. I think it's appropriate to talk about LGBQT+ in sex education but I don't think that a young child should feel the need to make a decision about their sexuality when they are so young. The situation is too complex for a law.
https://t.co/WNO6HTGQ8P Elon Musk is developing technology to make artificial intelligence a reality after he has warned so many people that robots will be detrimental. Is it morally correct to let a person develop something that could kill millions? #erhslang22

Many people in Sweden began getting chips under their skin to make their daily lives easier. Is this beneficial to society or will these microchips cause detrimental effects to society? #erhslang22

The mental affects of fat shaming only cause people to be more unhealthy and it doesn't help the person mentally. What can we do to to stop the harmful effects of fat shaming #erhslang22
@tiredtyrant This issue does need more attention because children are not ready to be married before the age of 18. The human mind does not fully develop until they are 25. Therefore they should not get married until they are at least 18.
https://t.co/WY24YsRRw8 mental health is taking a decline. Mental health awareness month is a great way to show people that it's okay to to not feel happy or to feel anxious. What are some good ways to stay aware of mental health of yourself and of others? #erhslang22
https://t.co/8W2x648m3m abuse rates are high right now. We can look at victims and feel bad for them or we can do something about it. Is it true that you can't help someone if they don't want any help? Or is that an excuse we use to justify ourselves? #erhslang22
@NatalieF124 Shooter drills have some flaws. Not that I disagree and think that this drill wasn't a good drill but, if you don't get educated on shooter drills early into the school year then they can't help you. Every student knows what happens...
@NatalieF124 I think that they shouldn't install the cellular lines if they interfere with the planes because it could kill people or take a plane down or intercept the communications with the plane. All of which is dangerous.
https://t.co/SDLfIj4V73 the gun incident by director Alec Bladwin leads people to focus their attention on real guns being used on the set. Should real guns be used in movie sets or should directors stick to CGI #erhslang22
@MadelynBeecrof3 No because it's a type of discrimination. I mean what connotation does the word "segregation" have? If you see patterns then this should not be allowed because it's headed in a direction that could be very destructive.
