Yesterday, Phyllida Lloyd led an engaging film festival masterclass for our teacher-directors! It was a fascinating session that explored her journey into filmmaking and directing, and offering valuable advice for them to apply when directing their school's film. Thank you! 😊
I have a free space on my next Co-Creation with Young People course (4-6 September) for a short student placement. It would include taking notes for some of the workshop, but otherwise full participation in it for free.

So here I am @ThePleasance shortly to see if show. If you see me, unless clearly otherwise engaged, don’t be shy but tell me about your show. Like everyone else I am looking for the needles in the haystack.
Annual @SSF_UK team trip to @The_Globe yesterday. Much Ado is a joy! Had a lot of fun watching our brilliant creative associate as Leonato but this is also a brilliant piece of ensemble theatre. Go and see it, everyone!
If you're in Edinburgh this year, so go and see Steen. Such brilliant memories of seeing his first show 10 years ago and others since. Gutted to not be able to go. So if you can, go! He's superb.

My grandad's poem about landing on the beach at Arromanches 80 years ago today. I can't begin to fathom how scared he would have been. I didn't get to know him but it does feel poignant to have such a tangible connection to a historic day. #Dday
