@Yoshiality@tooftwap@fizzystraws The other answer is that the designers just didn't care and thought Lugia's psychic powers took precedence over it living in the ocean. Not to mention some other aquatic pokemon like Eelektross and Dhelmise aren't Water types either
@Yoshiality@tooftwap@fizzystraws Gold, Heart Gold, and Leaf Green state it lives in the ocean because its powers are too strong. Most Dex entries mention its wings causing 40-day storms, but the "The Power Of One" movie explains that its psychic power plays a huge part too
@tooftwap@fizzystraws it's because Lugia lives in the ocean to suppress its otherwise destructive psychic powers, not because it's native to the ocean. That's why it's a Psychic type and not Water.
Legends Z-A is genuinely proof that Game Freak COULD redo the idle animations to make them more lively but they just don't WANT to because it'd slow development
how UTDR "theorists" feel after throwing a bunch of random screenshots in a powerpoint, not explaining anything, and calling it some shit like stupoingus mcdoingus theory
@PewZero tbh i get why people love Baxcalibur (i really like it too) but compared to the rest of the Paldea dex it feels kinda naked
plus the idle animation isn't doing it any favors with how stiff it looks
As creator of said game: You should support indies if you can, but culture shouldn't exist only for those who can afford it. ULTRAKILL wouldn't exist if I hadn't had easy access to movies, music and games growing up.
