This week, I had the pleasure of meeting with Blake Zante, Executive Director of the @MaddyInstitute.
We discussed the institute’s vital role in preparing the next generation of public leaders in the San Joaquin Valley, as well as its work connecting students across the Central Valley with valuable internship opportunities at the local, state, and federal levels.
I’m grateful for their important work—because when our students succeed, America succeeds!
Yesterday, I met with Blake Zante, Executive Director of the Maddy Institute. We discussed their public policy partnership program that connects students throughout the Central Valley with internships at the local, state, and federal levels. I've hosted several of their interns in my offices, and I look forward to continuing my work to support the leaders of tomorrow.
Our Executive Director spent the week in Washington, DC meeting with members of Congress to share the work of the Institute. Thank you to @RepVinceFong, @RepJimCosta, @RepDavidValadao, & @RepZoeLofgren for their commitment to strengthening civic leadership across the Valley!
