Expect to see plenty of references in the artwork available to steal in ‘The Next Big Score’ on GTA Online.
References to previous Rockstar Games’ characters and stories, and community-favourite bugs.
The death of Roman Bellic, in GTA IV, is depicted as a renaissance piece.
@TheRealSpilner@BASEDGLORYBOY@thicc_stick_boi ‘Felt’ being the key term there. Obviously it isn’t real, when all the super/sports cars had 0 downfource and bouncy suspension.
For average cars, it felt great - I remember driving the Cognoscenti and that was so weighty, taking a turn at speed would react like a Maybach
@BASEDGLORYBOY@thicc_stick_boi It sucked if you was bad, yeah. If you got the hang of it, the weight of the vehicle’s felt real, I used to love the driving on that game.
@GTAonlineNews If anyone is to blame, it’s the average consumer - consumer demand, as stated by SONY themselves, is for digital product over physical. The convenience for consumer significantly outweighs that for physical editions.
Games that hold sentiment, I understand, but this makes sense.
@Lucas7yoshi_RS Unfortunately for the consumer, and something we cannot argue with, but I’d believe they’ll make it subscription-based to have an active GTA+ membership to access.
- Standard Online/MP
- Dedicated Servers/Custom Servers
- Marketplace for assets
Makes sense for a business.
Article is from 2025 based on rumour circulation, but the emergence of the subscription service, GTA+, is no coincidence, and is completely in scope with GTA VI & Online’s campaign and operation.
Rockstar Games advertised for job to produce a Subscription model as early as 2021.
GTA Online anticipated to require GTA+ subscription to access & play, as Rockstar develop a new gaming platform which will see a new sandbox, dedicated servers and marketplace for UGC.

@ThePhoenixKng12@Batweiss@RStarUniverse@gamers_guide1@RockstarSupport Not saying response is correct, but the continuation of purchasing physical copies will be possible post-release, I.e.: going to a physical retailer to purchase the physical version of game. So that would correctly be the coming months.
A reasonable price that falls below the expected, rumoured, hikes prices earlier this year.
From the outset this looks well-weighted, but are we expected to be met by further costs for the returning GTA Online experience? Suggestions GTA+ subscription will be required to play.
As earlier reported, GTA VI has now become available for pre-order by way of local midnight release and has been listed at £69.99 for the Standard Edition & £89.99 for the Ultimate Edition respectively.

Pre-orders options have gone live on the PS5 Store for customers based in New Zealand, with midnight release local time.
Interesting to see that Standard Edition is listed at NZ$139.95 and Ultimate Edition is listed at NZ$174.95 respectively.
@Vinewood_motors I’m expecting to see 4.
✅ Standard Edition
✅ Deluxe Edition
✅ Special Edition
✅ Collectors Edition
Deluxe/Standard potentially just separated by a ‘Pre-Order bonus’ which will be dependent on date of ‘pre-order’ if at a date closer to release.
Expecting to see the marketing campaign for GTA VI to kickstart as early as next Tuesday with an unprecedented approach to an entertainment product.
The arrival of GTA VI is going to be absolutely colossal.
