Being one of the young people who attended African Liberation Day 2026 was a great lesson and a reminder that Africa has a powerful history, but also a future that can be built by us.
We learned about unity, self-reliance, loving our continent, and defending it through our ideas, actions, and values.
The words from the leaders who spoke to us left us with the responsibility of becoming a visionary generation that fights for a peaceful Africa with clean water, proper sanitation, and sustainable development. 🌍✨
“Africa is not only our origin, it is our responsibility.” ❤️💛💚

“Being your sibling is truly a blessing.
I’m so lucky to have you in my life, my big sister.
The values, discipline, and kindness you instilled in me still guide me, and they always will.”
Women and girls carry incredible strength within them. We are capable of doing many things in a short time…….and doing them well.
Let no one discourage you by saying “you can’t” or that certain work is only for men. That mindset is outdated and holds us back.
God did not separate us by ability……only by gender and the role of giving life. But He never limited our potential or what we can achieve.
It’s time to rise, to try what we’ve been told we cannot do, and prove otherwise. Let’s stop waiting for solutions and start creating them…..because the power is already within us.
Let’s ignore what weakens us and focus on what builds us…….our families, our society, and our nation.
We are faithful before God, and we are a source of life and nurture. We shape the future.
We are capable. 💪✨@FabRugumire@mugabojulius1@Annemwiza
Grateful for the opportunity to be part of the General Assembly of the National Youth Council in Muhima Sector.
Under the theme “32 Years: Youth in Preserving Unity and Building Our Nation,” it was an honor to join and learn from distinguished leaders including Hon. Deputy UMOHOZA Vanessa, BAYISENGE Eric (SG, RYVCP), Nadjal (NYC – Higher Education), NIYONKURU Philbert (NYC Coordinator, Nyarugenge), MUREGO Jean Jacques (RYVCP coordinator, Nyarugenge), IGIHOZO Germaine (YL Chairperson, Nyarugenge), alongside local leaders from Muhima Sector, IBUKA representatives, and fellow youth leaders.
From visiting the Rebero Genocide Memorial to engaging in impactful discussions, this moment was a reminder that youth play a key role in preserving our history, strengthening unity, and building the future of our country.
I am truly honored to have been part of the panel—sharing my voice, learning from inspiring leaders, and standing together for a greater purpose.
Together, we choose remembrance, unity, and progress.

Dreams backed by purpose always find their way. ✨
My film Inkomoko (The Origin) has officially been acquired by Zacu Entertainment and will soon be airing on Zacu TV, available on Canal+ Channel 3.
From a vision… to a story… to a screen.
This is more than a milestone………..
Remembering the past, shaping the future. 🕊️
On April 17, 2026, in Muhima, we stood together as youth to honor the brave politicians laid to rest at Rebero—heroes who chose truth, unity, and courage over silence
Their legacy is not just history, it is a responsibility.
