@meganlcook@TheJohnRylands have a really user friendly digital collection. So easy to navigate. One of the few UK libraries I’ve visited that has digitised its (non-illuminated) ME Bruts. Also has some beautiful illuminated mss. https://t.co/0zFFQU73Qr
I really shouldn’t have called them ‘writing’ blocks! More like furious ‘note assimilation’ blocks. Grappling with my notes on textual theory and stemmatics. Any clarity? Anyone...? #medievaltwitter
About to start my first remote writing retreat as I'm stuck at home this morning. Very excited to get some writing done, inspired by @zizizaman and everyone else hitting big targets this year. #pressureson
Reminder: Yt ys okaye to be lonely. Yt ys okaye to be sad. Yt ys okaye to have no plannes or just small plannes. Yt ys okaye to have big plannes that seem exhausting. Take care of yowerself. We are all straungeres heere, looking out for ech othir yn the wynter. Thou art amazinge.
Just gave a Medieval Lit and palaeography taster-lecture to a group of year 12s. Only 5 students put their hands up when I asked if they liked/were taking English Lit. I was disproportionately happy to find that they had actually done the task.
Newly digitised #Manchu silk scrolls!

It really has been lovely. Thank you to our keynotes, speakers & delegates. Thanks to @LivUniSCA for sharing their collections with us yesterday. Thank you @sotauol for hosting us in their beautiful library and to the events team for being incredible.
Well, I think it's safe to say #WritingHome19 was a tremendous success! All congratulations to @Nashe_Greene @MadelaineSmart and Olivia Colquitt for putting together a fantastic event. Now let's all sleep for 48 hours.
Very interesting papers at #WritingHome19. A field of study completely different to my own and a breathe of fresh air! Thank you very much @Nashe_Greene & @MadelaineSmart

Giants and incest and murder, oh my! #WritingHome19
Have you ever seen such lovely camels? Anyone know how accurate this depiction of camel riding is? Is it customary to sit behind/on top/in front of the hump? @LivUniSCA#WritingHome19
