Thank you Douglas County! I’m overwhelmed and humbled by your support. To be awarded all 92 delegates was incredible.
Kudos to my tireless team, unwavering family, and truly special supporters. I’m honored and more determined than ever to defeat Lauren Boebert in November!
After 34 years in the United States Navy, serving under six presidents from both parties, I never imagined I would be attacked for wearing the uniform of this country. But that’s exactly what my primary opponent is doing.
To those who have already caucused for me: Thank you. To those who plan to support me in an upcoming caucus this month: Thank you. To those who are still not sure who they are supporting yet or those supporting another candidate: Thank you.
Thank you for getting involved. Thank you for standing up for our community. We are going to win in November… But we can only do it together.
I served in the Navy for 34 years. and I took an oath to the constitution. Despite that, my opponent has called me a “traitor” to this country and accused me of being a “Trump official” simply because I wore the uniform during his first term. That’s not just false — it’s the kind of toxic politics that drives good people away from public service.
Our entire campaign is about including people. That’s why we’ve made more than 26,000 phone calls, held over 50 meet-and-greets, traveled over 13,000 miles, and recruited hundreds of first-time caucus goers.
We win in November by engaging everyone and expanding our coalition – not hiring someone who already tried to overturn one election to suppress voters in another.
This week, my Democratic primary opponent hired a MAGA lawyer who tried to overturn the 2020 election. Her lawsuit against our own Colorado Democratic Party seeks to prevent people’s voices from being heard in caucus.
We are not going to defeat Lauren Boebert by discouraging people from getting involved or playing dirty. This is why people hate politics.
While announcing that he is donating his remaining fortune—over $100 billion—to the Gates Foundation, along with news that the foundation will spend down all of its funds and close within the next 20 years, Bill Gates accused Elon Musk of “killing the world’s poorest children” through misguided USAID cuts.
Gates told the Financial Times that the abruptness of the cuts had left life-saving food and medicines expiring in warehouses and could lead to the resurgence of diseases such as measles, HIV, and polio.
“The picture of the world’s richest man killing the world’s poorest children is not a pretty one,” Gates said.
“I’d love for him to go in and meet the children that have now been infected with HIV because he cut that money,” Gates told the FT.
