Spent a little time reading to @MadisonElise_13 preschool classes today at Heritage Elementary at @DCGDistrict. One of the highlights of my year because not only do I get to engage and interact with her students, but I get to see my daughter at work, doing what she loves!

This is Tucker’s dad. I wanted you to know that he made the decision today to say goodbye. This afternoon he took a turn & let us know he was ready. He passed peacefully with us loving on him. Thank you for following him & loving him. It mattered. He was special. 💔😢❤️❤️

My first ever classroom of my teaching career. I have worked for weeks to shape this space into an inviting, inclusive, and safe space for my students to learn and grow in. I am so proud of how it turned out and I can't wait for all the amazing things that will happen here!🤍
