@iWomansplainer After my first I think they were lighter than before? After my second, SOOOO heavy. Ended up having to take meds bc yes I was needing a new product every 45 min sometimes. Has not returned after the 3rd yet, praying it recalibrated 🤣
@GreatLakesWife_ My in laws are very similar and I felt much the same with my first. The feelings are valid AND they probably don’t mean anything by it ❤️
@GreatLakesWife_ I needed this solidarity today ❤️ went out for our anniversary and my youngest repaid me by waking up every hour between 11 and 6 am 🤦♀️ he didn’t do that as a newborn!
@GreatLakesWife_ I’ve had 4 kids, 4th I think is a few weeks older than yours, it’s been different for all 4. Hardest part is not knowing how long it will be, for sure. But one day you look up and realize it’s been a week of the baby sleeping until 4-5am and you start to feel human again
@GreatLakesWife_ Another perspective - some people NOT talking enough about the hard parts so when someone experiences “a hard” it’s like oh obviously something is wrong with me no one else thinks this is hard
@GreatLakesWife_ I did notice more ovulatory symptoms after I had my first kid.
I will say if you’re still breastfeeding, I found my cervical fluid to be sooo imprecise as an indicator of my cycle
@Romy_Holland This is how I felt about my oldest 🤣 I’m not sure if this is good or bad but usually she’d act brand new (aka perfectly happy baby) to whomever was watching her so my instructions sounded totally psycho
@LadyofKyria My 5yo just stopped eating her ice cream (I served it first while plating the rest of the meal) to eat her chicken. Feeling super proud right now 😂
@emilykmay my dad was like “it worked in 96, it will work in 08” whereas my mom was more likely to say “oh I understand why they now recommend you wait until 6 months to start solids, I’m gonna do that with this one even though we put cereal in my eldest’s bottle at 4mos”
@emilykmay I’m speaking as a sibling - I am 4.5 years older than my brother and then 11.5 years older than my sister - the main thing I observed with my parents is just that there’s new tech and new guidelines to observe but I think that’s more personality dependent -
@TiffaniMarie483 under 10 i wouldn’t be concerned it’s an indicator of life long personality traits and as the oldest of 3 I would also say there’s stuff that amongst siblings is fine but from an outside perspective seems CRAZY
@hannahchrstina Maybe not the point you were making but imo it’s possible to be cripplingly late and still a high performer…but if you’re that high of a performer they’re not firing you for tardiness sooo
@GreatLakesWife_ *just got out of shower*
10wk old: why has mother abandoned me 😭
Me, putting on lotion directly next to the bassinet: I’m right here bud just turn your head
10wk old: my mother may never return 😭
