You’re doing great sweetie

Dear Teacher Educator,
Please quit calling the 10+ page paper you’re asking pre-service teachers to write a lesson plan. (Maybe call it a lesson research paper.) It’s ruining their desire to plan lessons (and it’s unsustainable in the real-world).

Unpaid internships are rightfully being lambasted on Twitter right now. You know what’s even worse than an unpaid internship: STUDENT TEACHING. Because not only are you NOT getting paid for working 50+ hours a week, you are actually paying for it by paying tuition. It’s NUTS.

I’m in the “we’ll see” stage of my life. I’m not really too sure about anything. I don’t believe anyone or in anything until it happens and I don’t get my hopes up bc I’m so tired of let down so I just say “we’ll see” everytime somome makes a promise to me

This little dog was rescued by members of the Pike House this morning at about 3:30 a.m. The little dog was brought to the Humane Society as we couldn’t locate the owner. Please share with your friends. We are just glad he was dressed for the weather with a fancy sweater.
