1/14/2025: The day we doubled our family.
Harsh truth: Your second income is probably making your family poorer.
After taxes, childcare, the second car, and convenience food, most second incomes net the home $500/month. Your wife's presence is worth over $80,000. Do the actual math.

Caleb is a very smart and entertaining guy giving legit financial advice to a generation who desperately needs it.
Episode is out now on @spotify and everywhere else
Caleb Hammer says the boomers had the best stock market ever yet they ended up broke
"every single boomer that's been on my show they lived it up and spend all their money to live the lifestyle the wanted"
"and they didn't even set 10% aside a month...they had the best housing market, college, jobs...they were set up for everything"
"if they just put 5-10% a month in the stock market they had they would multi-millionaires"
One thing to put your team in a center location in DFW. But this is very far northeast for most of the region.
Traveling from the western side of DFW to games will get much harder.

The stadium conversation brings up the major problem here in Dallas, and the metroplex at large. We are a poorly built metro city. Reliant on major highways and a lack of major public transportation. This is the key why moving arenas outside of downtowns is the issue.
I don’t know how much of my feelings about the Stars and Mavs new arenas are hating change because change usually sucks. But I know that I feel unequivocally that this all really sucks. Can’t remember a time DFW sports felt this downtrodden
Once upon a time, Dallas was on top of the sports world.
The Rangers had just won a World Series. Both the Mavs and Stars were in the Western Conference Finals and looked built to do so for years to come. The Cowboys had just won the NFC East and made the playoffs three straight seasons for the first time since Jimmy/Switzer.
Almost nothing has gone well since.
If you live in Fort Worth you basically just can’t go to weeknight games now without being extremely late. Also no public transit so enjoy getting fucked by the inevitable $50 parking the Stars are going to throw at us. Love that for the fans😐
Colonial has to be the best of the Non-Signature PGA Tour events.
Awesome course. Awesome crowd. Great history.
The more I think of it, it’s not close. It’s better than some Signature events.
Valspar is also really good. WM is cool. But Colonial>
