Taiwan shipper willing to help world shipper, text me if need
37 years ago today, the Chinese government brutally crushed peaceful protesters in and around Tiananmen Square who were demanding an end to corruption, freedom of speech, and democratic reform. The massacre revealed a truth the world should never forget: the Chinese Communist Party will do whatever it takes to preserve its grip on power. If it did not value the lives of its own citizens, why would it value the lives of others?
@GmmtvShop If organizers can’t even respect Taiwan’s visa, tax, and labor laws, they shouldn’t be handling events here in the first place. Taiwan is not a convenient side market for people who think local laws are optional. 🤬
@GmmtvShop GMM seriously needs to stop outsourcing Taiwan events to foreign organizers who treat Taiwan like some administrative afterthought. You wouldn’t let Russia organize events in Ukraine and then act surprised when it becomes a political and legal disaster.
I’ve decided not to attend the Taipei pop-up store.
The issue is not the products, but the lack of transparency. The organizer and responsible seller are still unclear: who handles on-site sales, invoices, refunds, and disputes? The HK companies or TW local organizers?
The IG post also says TWD prices are tax-exclusive and an extra 5% business tax will be charged on-site, which seems questionable under Taiwan’s consumer price rules.
Until this is clearly explained, I don’t feel safe supporting this event.

A reminder that the KMT are Taiwan’s former authoritarians.
They fled to Taiwan after losing the Chinese Civil War, killed and jailed a generation of Taiwanese people, rebranded as a political party during democratization, and have become useful idiot chaos agents for the CCP.
Chinese ships have repeatedly sabotaged Taiwan's undersea cables, part of ongoing grey zone warfare against the island democracy.
🚨This should be an alert for all countries that use Chinese technology. The CCP will sabotage these systems in future conflicts.
The reality is the Chinese government can censor on most western social media. Criticism of the CCP is suppressed on Youtube and Facebook. I quit trying to post on Reddit many years ago because my account was restricted.
Looks like Chinese state media finds it no problem to blackface @ChingteLai for disrupting Chinese suppression of Taiwan's international space. Can't wait to see how Western celebrities & observers celebrating China's development would respond to racism by Chinese government.
