@teacherleaderja@LightEduFires This is something that I feel like many people struggle with! Change can be scary, but we need to remember it doesn't happen over night. Change is a process that requires trial and error!
@LightEduFires I must include that we all need to believe the students are at the center of all educational decisions that are made. They are our future after all!
@LightEduFires We need to have buy in from everyone involved. The community, students and the teachers all need to see and believe in the purpose or the outcome we want to see.
@LightEduFires We need to prepare our kids for a life outside of school. Our standards and procedures are seemingly preparing them for college, but the reality is, they don't all have access to further their education. Plus, the real world is hard to navigate! #msum644
@LightEduFires@MissField5@coachnicksun@corderj @mradamwelcome @nathanstrenge@E_Sheninger Build relationships with our students to better understand what drives their passion to learn and engages them in the experience! Knowing what they need and where they are at in the learning will ultimately drive the learning. We truly need to understand their needs first!
Congratulations @MadysonWebber on being selected as the 8-2A Assistant Girls Soccer Coach of the Year. This is the second year in a row a Laker assistant coach has received this honor. Jessica Pudwill received the same honor last year. @KdlmSports@DLPublicSchools @DLtribSports
I am one proud teacher. I love being a part of an environment that not only empowers students, but full heartedly embraces and shares many cultural experiences. I have been learning so much through building relationships with my students and letting them shine! #ED527 ❤️
@DrKCarlson This is awesome!! I have been loving to learn about Canva and have been using it to make more engaging content and experiences. Introducing Flipgrid and Canva would be something exciting to try in the classroom!! 🤩
@Mrs_ASchmidt@gcouros Our jobs are truly never over. Neither is the amount of growth that anyone can experience! The world is always changing and adapting.
@Educ8thefuture1 I took a risk for my observation with my principle to create a snowball fight math activity that had the class share their understanding through a brief podcast (shared with parents). It may have been slightly chaotic, but the students were engaged and exceeded my goals!🤩 #ED527
