This is a Witch Bottle, dating to 1850 & is held in the Pitt Rivers Museum, Oxford. Witch bottles were supposed to capture witches inside. The woman who donated this bottle to a museum said, “They do say there be a witch in it & if you let un out there it be a pock o’trouble.”
