If you’d like to support our 📚🐾CRE Library🐾📚, check out…https://t.co/EIAFs48GXy! We typically raise money, through fundraisers, for books. Many of the listed items are to make the space fun and inviting & for our reading challenges & games throughout the year! #ClearTheList

@OGdukeneurosurg Hello! I’ve had a CT & MRI with results of a suspected teratoma. I know it’s rare, and I have neurologist/neurosurgeon referrals. I’ve searched scientific journals available to me via local library and haven’t found much. Could you point me to any resources where I may find info?

When Roe was overturned and women bled out in ERs, we heard “states’ rights. When guns became the #1 killer of kids, still “states’ rights.” But one protest against injustice? Suddenly there’s federal boots on the ground. They don’t panic when people die, only when they speak.

The God given immune system is truly wondrous but even with that, before we had vaccines, 1 in 5 kids didn't survive to their 5th birthday

Vaccines save lives!

🧵 If you’re applauding the abolishment of the Department of Education, you need to do a little research. You have ZERO clue what the DOE actually does.

Here’s a reality check on what the Department of Education actually does:
(1/14)

[Zach W. Lambert @ZachWLambert]

I was hungry, but you took free lunch out of schools.

I was thirsty, but you cut humanitarian aid funding for clean water.

I was a stranger, but you sent ICE agents into my church to arrest me.

I was sick, but you took away my healthcare coverage.

I was in prison, but you left me there because you profited off of it.

Whatever you did to the least of these, my siblings, you did to me.

(how I think Jesus would have phrased Matthew 25 if he was preaching in America today)

[Auschwitz Memorial @AuschwitzMuseum]

Most Jews deported by Nazi Germany to Auschwitz for extermination were given the illusion of resettlement & new life. They packed their suitcases with all the essential items. Hope became one of the most important weapons.

Many suitcases we preserve and display at the Memorial are unique personal documents as they carry the names of their owners.

[Rev. Benjamin Cremer @Brcremer]

Growing up, I was told that the demise of Christianity would be caused by our country rejecting God.

Now I believe it is actually caused by Christians blatantly rejecting the teachings of Jesus for the sake of political power.

In two weeks Trump has:

-Released the J6 prisoners who violently assaulted cops to overturn an election.
-Started a trade war with allies, but gave China a light touch.
-Turned over the entire government to the unelected billionaire who ruined this platform—including the Treasury payment system.
-Nominated the most unqualified cabinet in modern history, several of whom are actual national security risks.
-Blamed a horrific crash on DEI without any evidence.
-Added billions to his personal wealth by launching a scam crypto meme.
-Purged the FBI of anyone who worked on the J6 investigations.
-Randomly wasted a bunch of water in CA and nearly flooded out farmers just so he could act like he was turning on water for the state.

What’d I miss?

[Pete Buttigieg @PeteButtigieg]

Despicable. As families grieve, Trump should be leading, not lying. We put safety first, drove down close calls, grew Air Traffic Control, and had zero commercial airline crash fatalities out of millions of flights on our watch.
President Trump now oversees the military and the FAA. One of his first acts was to fire and suspend some of the key personnel who helped keep our skies safe. Time for the President to show actual leadership and explain what he will do to prevent this from happening again.

[Secretary Miguel Cardona @SecCardona]

I taught my kids that for every action there's an equal & opposite reaction. It was my version of, "you mess around, you're gonna find out."
In a world where we see a lot of efforts to mess around with public education, we cannot be afraid to speak out. Our future depends on it.

[Secretary Miguel Cardona @SecCardona]

If you support eliminating the Department of Education, you do not support our students. Period.

@USEDgov provides funding for:
✅Students w/ disabilities
✅Rural students
✅Programs that make college affordable

This would be bad for students, and bad for America.

We aren’t ending friendships over politics, we’re ending friendships over morals.

There is a huge difference.

Just seems appropriate today.

Mr Biden,
I need you to stand up, straighten your back and make some things shake before your departure

[Forrest Bennett @ForrestBennett]

Take care of you

Take care of your people

Cling to your empathy and compassion

Focus and utilize your anger; it is a powerful thing

Trust that many of us are doing the same thing

I can’t know what the future looks like but it has to be brighter than this

Wow. This new Kamala Harris ad narrated by Viola Davis is one of the most powerful things I’ve watched. It tells the story, experience, & vision of Kamala Harris & why she is ready for this. It’s a masterpiece & it sent chills down my body. Watch & share.

Holy shit, this “American girl” ad from @senecaprojectus is amazing!!!
Hard to see the letters I’m typing through the tears streaming down my face though.
