Diane Keaton was the quintessential hyper-independent, intelligent, witty, quirky, and rebellious Hollywood girl. She never quite fit into the typical super starlet glam, but that's what made her so appealing.

To steal one of her own quotes, "Talent is so damn attractive.." and that's exactly what made her so remarkably memorable. Deciding to never marry, glamming up menswear as her signature, standing up for animal rights, and even helping to restore and preserve the Ennis House in California for her love of architecture.. she's always been unique but more importantly, fun to watch and admire.

Her list of films, shows, and appearances is too abundant for one post. Her impact on the imagery and message of aging women on-screen is more important than we ever gave her credit for. Especially with her role in 'Something's Gotta Give', Diane famously played the menopausal 'hot girl' with Keanu Reeves and Jack Nicholson vying for her attention. It was a game changer for many older actresses in the industry and started a refreshing trend. Diane has always followed her soul and we were just lucky to be able to benefit from her journey.

Diane Keaton is an absolute icon, her impact will outlive our generation, and I hope her family & children know how grateful we were to have experienced her.

May you forever rest in the most exquisite and comfortable power suit, Miss Keaton.
