Meaning, logic can be applied to both perspectives, but I don't know maybe because I grew up in a Muslim geography, the Islamic view makes more sense to me. Jesus is merely a servant and messenger of God, a human being with no supernatural powers. Before Jesus was crucified, God made the man who slandered Jesus look like him, and they crucified that man instead. So Jesus was not crucified; Islam depicts that he was raised to the heavens by God and will return to Earth near the end of times. This makes more sense to me.
