We are greatful to the leadership and staff of the MFA in Khartoum. Our families have a great share in what we have achieved. They were very supportive,cooperative and patient. The unprecedented challenges facing Sudan since April 2023 contributed to slowing the pace of our steps

Today I conclude a journey of four years as ambassador of Sudan to Austria and Slovakia and Permanent Representative to the UN and international organizations in Vienna . I am heading to a new assignment in the MFA in Khartoum. Today is the day of appreciation to all partners .

We thank all those who cooperated with us bilaterally and multilateral.
Their support was essential in what we have achieved. Our appreciation goes to our host country, Austria .Diplomats, administrative attaches and the local staff the Sudan Embassy were heroes behind the scenes

We requested support to our efforts to rehabilitate caner diagnosis and treatment centers and establishing 3 new centers.We look forward to receiving a delegation from the IAEA to assess the situation on the ground and design a plan to implement Atoms 4 food initiative in Sudan.

Today, in my capacity as Co-Chair of the Group of Friends of Food Security in Vienna with the Permanent Representative of the EU, co-hosted a high-level side event on “Strengthening the Role UNIDO in Food Security.” The ambassador of Pakistan played a crucial role in the event.
