Hi! I had found this diatom sp ( i think it is ) that was immobile, and I thought, why not start an automated capture with one image every 10 seconds for an hour.
When I came back, I was amazed—the diatom had exploded! It was incredible. 250x zoom, the video was slowed down to clearly see the process.

This time-lapse captures the growth of fungal hyphae under a microscope at 250x. One frame was taken every 5 minutes over a period of 4.5 hours, then compiled and played back at 2 frames per
second.

Sample: A single drop of liquid culture placed under a coverslip on a microscope slide
