Yesterday we accidently stole two pairs of pants from Sam's Club that my husband did not realize I had put in the cart cause it turns out, the need the older woman checking receipts had to scold us for not having our 1 y/o in a coat was more important than her need to do her job.

Non-parents may not know that large jackets in car seats is a big no-no and I promise you that my baby will be more miserable getting in and out of a jacket over and over again then she will be in the 10 seconds it takes to get her to the car.

@brian_byrne5 Get the coat on as you get out of the car. Take it off when you get into the store or she may overheat, put it on again before you leave, take it off when you get back to the car. If we live life this way my daughter will certainly turn to nudity as a lifestyle choice.
