@virginmedia Why now after 25years are you closing my email account with 30 days notice? do you know how long it takes to untangle 25years of online accounts & transfer/archive mails? not very fair for an existing customer from dial up in '98, ntlworld & 10 years full VM services
@JohnLewisRetail Your rules on gift cards and e-cards are shoddy, gift cards are as good as cash but an e-card is worthless as it expires - how’s that fair? A ten pound note in my pocket isn’t worthless in 2 years is it? Don’t buy e-cards, there’s so much they’re not saying….
@iMiMiMx@virginmedia It’s an option but VM don’t listen to customers, they think we want more bandwidth but unless you’re simultaneously streaming 4 movies and run a business most people are fine at the lower speeds. I think it’s time to look at the other players if VM don’t want customer retention
@virginmedia#virginmedia £12 a month price rise? You’re kidding right? £1080 a year for average TV and overpriced broadband when I can get fibre for £30? Be ready for my 150 call to cancel. You’re taking the pi$$.
@virginmedia Increasing speeds to those where it’s not needed? A 4k stream can use 25mbs so why do people need 250/500/1000? The bottleneck is elsewhere when you’re allegedly not traffic shaping peoples connections. Give us better prices and service to remote communities.
@virginmedia But you can still offer new customers a package the same as mine for £29 pcm and existing customers subsidise this. As they say, the customer has choice & I can get a similar service for less than half my current price.
@virginmedia A 16% rise? How is that fair? How will my service improve? You can offer a new customer my same package for £29 pcm yet I will have to pay £90 pcm. I think it’s time the ombudsman stepped in and regulated the pricing as has happened to the insurance industry.
@virginmedia@SkyUK Virgin media up your game, 20 minutes queuing to speak to customer service about a price improvement, offered another 18 month contract with less services than I have for £60pm and most of the TV is on freesat/freeview. Sky do more for £45pm, You can do better
@dresserman Amazon like eBay are fools, to continue to use Amazon I now have to take out another credit card? Amazon make enough profit as it is, just like the eBay/paypal seller changes this will leave a bad taste & I'll buy elsewhere whenever I can. Surely a deal can be worked out?
@mrsamjones88 I agree, the people I worry for (& their futures) are those that go out of their minds when these platforms are offline & realise their life doesn't function without them.
@M_Shoaib08 Its a big boohoo 😂they can stay down for a week & I think the world would learn a thing or two! BTW tumbledrier for sale, marketplace is carped...😂
@WeeMissBea@mollmcb Is this day and age I’m not sure I’m allowed to comment on your muffins as someone will be offended on your behalf. Big fan of your work x
@CTrevanion I get that people are entitled to their own opinions etc but what did this person really expect to achieve from this tweet? Why make it a personal attack? Is it the social media validation of likes and approvals of others that drives it or just trolling? Where does it end?
