My business has been reinstated by @googlemaps. Thank you for every message of support, every story shared, and every attempt to help - I’m so grateful. I will never forgive @Google for the stress and anxiety they induced.
Day 8. Extremely grateful to a London law firm that will be examining whether there is a case for legal action against @google and @googlemaps More to follow tomorrow…
Day 7. No word from @Google or @googlemaps on their unjust and reprehensible action. Good interest from various news outlets on the company’s inexplicable behaviour.
Day 6. I’ve never had a company have such a direct impact on my health and well-being. Absolutely broken. “What are you gonna do, it’s @Google” seems to be the common rhetoric in response to the company’s historic and repeated abuse of its monopoly.
Day 5. Approaching a full week of my business being removed by @Google with no explanation. My business has been established for years and despite providing HMRC tax certificates and Companies House registration records, @googlemaps refuse to help.
@GoogleMyBiz I’ve done that Amy, received a response saying “the team is working on the case”…
No reason given for the suspension of account, no time frame given on when the issue will be resolved, no ability to speak to anyone.
Day 3. After posting over on instagram, I’ve been inundated with @Google horror stories. The company ignoring money they owe customers, @googlemaps ignoring business owners in crisis, the list goes on…
With zero justification, @Google has disabled my business on @googlemaps. As well as being massively anxiety inducing, customer support is non-existent. No outreach and no reply. I’ve never felt so discarded by a company.
Day 2. Just to be clear, with no warning, no reason and no subsequent notification @GOOGLEMAPS has disabled my @Google business profile. To make matters worse, there is no one I can contact at @GoogleUK to find out further information.
@GoogleMyBiz Hi Ben, I’ve filled out the form. I have not been sent a case ID.
Given the fact Google work of their own volition, I have no steer on what the problem is. All my business information is correct.

@nationalrailenq This link is of no help as it’s just a journey planner. There are 10s of people stranded, why can’t we be told if a train will come? How are we meant to make alternative arrangements?
