I don’t get switching off your travel team after committing just to stay local & save money.

Then you go to college competing for playing time on a 20+ player roster against teammates who’ve already been in college, living on their own, fighting for playing time for the last 4-5 years.

Sure, you saved money up front—but what’s the long-term cost?

If you’re not playing or not happy, are you going to end up transferring and spending more anyway? How many credits will you lose? And what happens if the next school doesn’t offer you the same scholarship because you don’t have the playing time to show you can get it done?

I don’t understand taking your senior summer off or playing local after you commit..

You worked your whole life to commit to play in college.

Just to have the “take a break” mindset before you have to go compete with college teammates who have been playing at that level for 4-5 years..

In my opinion, you aren’t going in mentally ready to compete to win a starting spot..

I’m just saying..
