LEDGER INVESTIGATES WALLET THEFTS LINKED TO SOUTHEAST ASIAN RESELLER

Ledger says it is investigating reports of stolen funds involving customers in Southeast Asia who purchased hardware wallets from reseller CryptoBilis.

Ledger has asked the reseller to immediately pause all sales and shipments while the investigation continues.

Customers who purchased devices from the reseller within the past 90 days are being advised not to initialize unused devices.

Those who have already set up their wallets are advised to consider moving their funds to a new Ledger signer with a newly generated seed phrase.

The statement follows reports from on-chain investigator Specter alleging more than $86 million in stolen funds across Bitcoin, Ethereum, and TRON.

The attack method remains unconfirmed, but the investigation now appears focused on a specific reseller rather than a confirmed vulnerability affecting Ledger hardware globally.
