@LVL6ssb @JPStephs Then you can push advantage from there seeing if they'll attack, jump, air dodge, or just di away. You'll run up close enough to continue advantage but not close enough to get hit by side B out of hit stun. Not the best move but a surprising mix up
@LVL6ssb @Angeloid_SSBU@JPStephs If Ridley sits in shield d throw at 0% percent combos into jab, they can't jump out or air dodge out. At higher percents, you'll use f throw or b throw to get them off stage or d throw under plats or just as a mix up. He has multi jumps so you'll go for horizontal combos
@LVL6ssb @Angeloid_SSBU@JPStephs D smash 2 frame won't work, you'll want to grab ledge and wait for Ridley to start up B animation, you'll drop down and counter. He won't be able to reach the stage if he went low enough. If it's a wall stage, we can go even lower and he has even fewer options
@LVL6ssb @Angeloid_SSBU@JPStephs I've actually went on a Ridley gauntlet for my opinions and took 12 Ridley stocks before I lost my 3. I can dm you how I deal with the mu if you want
@Angeloid_SSBU @LVL6ssb @JPStephs If you're playing the mu by staying outside the burst range, you can react with jump over or away and wife punish hard. Ridley is the same weight as Terry and has trouble getting out of combos. Even a good Ridley will use it at some point so it's good to be ready for
@LVL6ssb @Angeloid_SSBU@JPStephs We're not supposed to touch anyone's shield and we can still counter his edge guard attempts. Min Min is easier but worse. Against Ridley, the game plan is to be outside Ridley's burst range while you look for patterns. He's going to have to wall you out with aerials and tilts
