@LombardiaNahuel Except schools never say "Don't be racist" or "Don't rape" or whatever. I teach history. There are no text books that I've ever seen that go beyond "Here are the conditions that slaves lived under." These people are the ones CHOOSING to side with the slave owners.
@Extralongdokkan I once wrote some alternate timeline OCs where they were all named after candy. This was before DB Super so I didn't think that other universes would need to be all vegetables names
@SaeedDiCaprio After seeing the totals I'm angry at anti-electoralists (and the Dems for continuing to lurch toward the center instead of embracing Left populism)
@sleeepysandy I spent the last week watching prominent people get motivated to vote for Trump because a squirrel used to advertise a guy's gay porn content was euthanized after it bit a cop.
Yes. Some people actually are just dumbasses.
@jzellis In the forward to her book, Attwood goes into great detail about what real world things inspired every aspect of her book's world. Christianity is not spared.
@PISCESPRADA Once in college I went a few weeks without eating any vegetables and I was skipping breakfast so I wasn't even drinking orange juice. I started to get really sick and realized that I was probably getting scurvy
@LazyGobbo@teamfourstar Even before that he was many times stronger than people who could blow up the moon. Homelander could never dream of tanking a Kamehameha from 23rd budokai Yamcha
@daabsoluteguy For the record, this is why Loss gets made fun of. It's a shocking tone shift sandwiched in the between thousands of comics that are like this.
@F466OT I work in public schools. Every other middle school boy is an Andrew Tate fan. It doesn't surprise me that much.
Also consider that children aren't politically engaged. They probably just voted based on what political signs their parents have in their yard.
@pattonoswalt My children are turning 4 in a few months. I'm always talking about how excited I am to show them my favorite movies when they're old enough. I had so much fun watching cowboy movies from the 50s and 60s with my dad as a kid.
This is my nightmare scenario.
@evanewashington The Compendious Volume of Balancing and Completion was written in like 800 CE and was still in use for about 700 years after the author died. It was the first math text book and its name in Arabic is where the name "Algebra" comes from.
