Wow... I wasn't expecting this but I'm not surprised๐, because Most times You just won't know which day opportunity comes your way.
Thank you Mr. Osman Benk Sankoh for the kind words and encouragement, ...
After a very busy meeting this morning, I walked into the office. I was introduced to a young man named Moses A Sesay , who was marketing a variety of local ingredients, including gari, res kanya, benni, kanya pepper, as well as fresh seafood such as prawns and fish. Together with his mum, they have a brand called Mag-Mose Enterprise. Proceeds from the sales are used to pay his school fees, he tells me.
However, what truly stood out was the determination of this young man, who even attempted to persuade the UN Resident Coordinator to purchase from him. My subsequent conversations with him unveiled a wealth of insight and inspiration.
โFrom March of 2022 to Sept 2023, I spent a year working as a marketer with UBA Sierra Leone at their Cline Town branch. In May of that year, I was recognised as the highest-performing DSE (Direct Sales Executive) nationally. I then had the privilege of meeting the Boss, Mohamed Alhajie Samoura. He congratulated me and said he looked forward to more great performances. He even gave me a sizeable tip, and it was on a Friday,โ he said
Today, he has returned to his academic pursuits at Limkokwing University, where he is studying Business IT and proudly serves as an Ambassador of the University.
It goes without saying that I supported his business and urged him to continue with it, because supporting local businesses is not just a choice, but a responsibility. Stay off drugs, keep yourself busy productively and stay focused in school, I told him.

@MbengaBenjamin Wow, what a real art!
Is that your grandmum or just inspiration?
And (from the woman on the earring ๐๐พ), are you trying to communicate that: all that the Old woman in the portrait hears is only how black women are burdened, enslaved, vulnerable, weak, and only carry loads ?
@thenihiin ๐ even though I have the "they're not gonna follow thought" but lemme male the move and keep it positive though ๐๐.
And as u follow, thank u in advance ๐๐ซฑ๐ผโ๐ซฒ๐พ
How about taking the flip side of life?
... Thinking about an era of ZERO-STEEZE , Less of appearing all serious and professional, and taking the "local path", following the masses, doing the trends, doing it as a Gen-Z, posting memes, and doing all the "young type shit".

U can be doing something casually,
Not until you meet a person that sees it more than just a help, and starts paying you for it ๐.
The point is, pray make you meet the right people, and u go shock how things go just rapidly turn around ๐โญ๏ธ
As a man Is there a quick hack to cry?
I really wanna learn to express all my deep feelings and frustrations.
maybe crying can help to break me down ๐ฉ
Those qualities that separate us are often ridiculed by others or criticized by teachers.
Because of these judgments, we might see our strengths as disabilities and try to work around them in order to fit in. But anything that is peculiar to our makeup is precisely what we must pay the deepest attention to and lean on in our rise to mastery.
Learn the lesson: Once the words are out, you cannot take them back. Keep them under control. Be particularly careful with sarcasm: The momentary satisfaction you gain with your biting words will be outweighed by the price you pay.
The most successful people I know all have an almost irrational belief that everything will work out
And I just recently learned the word for it: Pronoia.
It means the opposite of paranoia. The belief that the world is secretly conspiring in your favor.
The funny thing about Pronoia is that it's self-fulfilling.
When you believe things will work out, you try harder. You persist longer, and you see opportunities where others see dead ends.
What's that quote again?
"Pessimists sound smart. Optimists make money." โ Nat Friedman
We all need a little more pronoia in our lives.
