Please remember that all those interactions you have with your students outside of the lesson really matter. The smiles… the eye contact… the jokes… the fist bumps… and the silliness… they’re all important. They remind kids that they matter. Those moments can mean the world.
TY students are embarking on their GAISCE journey and as part of their community aspect, they are doing a weekly litter pick in the local community. Students also have to complete 13 weeks of physical activity, 13 weeks of a skill and take part in an overnight expedition.
We hope all the children, teachers, staff & parents are settling in nicely to the new school term, wishing you all the very best ✨
Have lots of fun & keep moving!🏃♀️👩🦽
Thanks so much to Cian McGovern for coming in today to sing his own song Duncormick Road with the singers from 3rd to 6th Class in Assembly. Cian wrote this song for the Duncormick Harvest Festival which was a great day out last Sunday.

Our Daughter is gone to the Gaeltacht for 2 weeks. This is her view. Love that she’s going to be immersed in our language and have fun doing it. This is what I’m told anyways… apparently it’s ceilis, music, Swimming, kayaking, whilst speaking Irish. Love this for her.
