As a longtime Apple fan, this one hits different.
15 years of Tim Cook leading Apple.
Apple Watch. AirPods. Apple Pay. Apple Silicon. AirTag. Mac Studio. Vision Pro. Apple Intelligence. And now M6.
People love comparing Tim Cook to Steve Jobs, but Cook’s legacy deserves to stand on its own.
Steve Jobs gave Apple its soul.
Tim Cook took that vision, scaled it to the world, and built one of the strongest ecosystems in tech history.
And now John Ternus takes the helm, carrying that legacy into a new era.
Different leaders. Different chapters. One Apple.
Respect to Steve Jobs for starting the revolution.
Respect to @tim_cook for an incredible 15-year run.
And best wishes to John Ternus for what comes next.
Apple has changed the way we create, communicate, work, listen, watch, pay — and think about technology itself.
Here’s to the past.
Here’s to the next chapter.
And here’s to many more years of insanely great products.
Stay hungry. Stay foolish. Think different.
Long live Apple.
Every subdomain I own was compromised last month.
By me.
I pasted the wildcard TLS private key into a chat window while debugging. Along with a bot token. Not a repo, not a commit — a chat window at 2am.
Anyone with that key could have forged a valid cert for any of my subdomains. No browser warning. Nothing to notice.
The mistake isn’t the scary part. The scary part is that secret scanners watch repos, and I’d been pasting secrets into twenty other places for years.
Rotated both. Now I assume anything I’ve ever pasted is gone.
@kang53440576 Forget it, bro. People back home don’t really think that way anymore. Everyone’s doing their own thing and putting their own interests first. It’s not the 1950s or 60s anymore.
