Here are some pictures from Ludi Novembres! Over 130 Miramonte Latin students attended the fall Northern Californian Latin Convention on the first weekend of November. They participated in academic, athletic and artistic events that revolved around the ancient world-Carpe diem!

After Convention ended, Miramonte Latin did a tour around Atlanta and visited Coke World, MLK’s house, Ebenezer Church, and the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park. We also ate lunch at The Varsity! Miramonte and California Latin only continue to grow stronger!
That’s a wrap on NJCL Convention at Emory University in Atlanta! For the last days of Convention we had the farewell dance and our final spirit day where we processed around the gym in togas and tunics! California also competed in Ludi Soccer and placed third!

Miramonte Latin’s casual certamen activity was a success! Four teams competed against each other and answered questions about mythology, grammar, and vocab! In the end the team Addie O was victorious‼️
Miramonte Latin will have our annual caroling tomorrow 12/17! We are meeting at 5:00pm in front of the Orinda Theatre! Can’t wait to see everyone there! Alumni are more than welcome!!
Io, Saturnalia! Today Latin Club celebrated the end of the semester and the beginning of Winter Break by hosting a holiday party after school. Over 70 students came by for pizza and other treats. Thank you to all the parents who helped to make this happen!
Miramonte Latin placed 3rd Nationally for Club of the Month in November due to our food drive where we donated over 400 pounds of food!! Big thanks to our Tertius, Reagan Kaelle, for organizing it 🎉

Mirador Advertisement Art Contest due 11/30!! Latin Club needs artwork for the Mirador! Every year, Miramonte Latin has an advertisement in the Mirador promoting Latin! First place winner will get a $50 scholarship, second place will get a $25 scholarship. Info on Canvas.
Miramonte Latin is proud to announce that Maia Vo’s depiction of the Greeks landing at Troy is the winner of art contest, for the design that will be featured on our programs for State Convention! Other notable mentions are designs by Jade Peng and Juliana Ishikawa!
Yesterday, Miramonte Latin Convention Heads came together and filmed the promo video for State Convention! We can wait to see you all March 31 at Miramonte!
A successful week for Miramonte Latin! Our food drive ended this friday, and Latin 3 period 5 were the winners with 303 points! On top of that, everyone who placed top 3 at Ludi in their respective events got ribbons!
