Barry McIlheney, the founding editor of Empire Magazine, has sadly died at the age of 65.
Writer, editor, publisher, broadcaster, and Shock Treatment punk rocker McIlheney served as Empire editor from 1989-1992. We will miss him greatly.

The projects put together a media business idea, a business plan, create research to back up their proposal via focus groups and other methods, design a presentation for possible investors and create sample content to show what the brand could do.
All of us at Cardiff University Magazine Journalism are pleased to announce that three graduates of our MA course have been shortlisted for the FIPP - Connecting Global Media annual award for the best project to create a new media business from scratch.
I've sat on this Bench many times. It's just outside of Pateley Bridge and has wonderful views over Nidderdale. What do you think? Isn't it beautiful ❤️
