And her courageous votes is why Barrett and Hegseth failed to take their positions...
I think a mainstay of liberal/left criticism of Collins is she only takes courageous votes when her vote doesn't matter! When it did matter, she voted for Kavanaugh and RFK Jr.!
Susan Collins:
1) Voted to convict Trump of impeachment
2) Voted against Amy Coney Barrett & Pete Hegseth
3) Backed limits on Trump's military power
4) Wants to nuke his "Anti-Weaponization Fund"
And more. If *she* is your evil right-wing extremist, words do not mean anything.
Many of you are like the punks in her memoir who romanticized rebellion and fighting oppression. You never actually experienced anything like that so it’s very easy for you to say it’s “Western propaganda” You envy those who have a real lived experience they try to escape from.
This kind of thing is too cute by half and emblematic of what sank Mills in the first place. Not mounting a serious or energetic campaign and hoping people vote for you anyways because your name is there. Wasn’t enough to beat Platner and doesn’t speak well to a general either.
This Flock executive misunderstanding his own software is actually providing the perfect example of how useless Flock is
There were actually only 3000 cars stolen during this period of time, but Flock sent out 70x the alerts for OPD to handle
Flock is useless noise at that rate
There are some weird mental gymnastics in this article when I think the point is "dem primary voters don't back republicans."
Also very weird to bring up Liz Cheney, which obviously was a move to attract independent/GOP voters and not uhh... excite the base.
NEW: Anti-Trump ex-Republicans are running in Democratic primaries. So far, they’re off to a rocky start
Geoff Duncan & Ryan Crosswell lost by double digits. George Conway trails in NY-12 polls
Comes as Dems wrestle w/ perception they’re just anti-Trump

he didn’t ask a question, he said “your father the best” while filming the daughter of the most publicly abusive father in the world. he’s lucky all she did was walk away imo
I was just thinking today before I saw the Platner news that for some people in this country a pol willing to lie about a past transgression amounts to an apology these days because it shows the pol can feel shame.
Day after George H.W. Bush's 1992 reelection defeat, Bush jokes to friend and aide Brent Scowcroft about a Carter comment on the results, "Jimmy is one gracious fellow, managing to p[iss] o[ff] both Clinton + me. !!"
60 Mins made over $200M in 2024 for CBS, it is by far the highest rated, most prestigious news show on network TV. There is literally no evidence it “needs to change”, this is a dopey cliche used to justify ideologically shifting its output to please its new billionaire owners.
One of the best aspects of that JPMorgan dude's scandal is discovering that the New York court record system is awesome
