@haikalstr Then I noticed their shoes. The man, the woman, and the child were all wearing brand new ones. It made me think the younger couples had taken them out for the day and bought them those shoes. It just warmed my heart, somehow!

@haikalstr I once saw this on the MRT on my way home. A middle-aged couple sat with a little kid between them, probably their child. Across from them were two younger, well-dressed couples. They seemed to know each other, and it felt like the man might work for them.
