When are we gonna accept the fact that we (neither other Italian clubs) can match the financials of any of the Oil or PL clubs ? Italy's best club in the last 5 years Inter Milan was destroyed last Saturday by a team who signed a player for 90M and discarded him the next season for a loan. Meanwhile Italian clubs penny pinch, scour the market for free agents and do grassroot level scouting just to stay afloat.
Inter Milan's midfield cost less than what PSG paid for Desire Doue and Bradley Barcola. Italian teams are not in the top 10 richest clubs anymore and its factually proven.
And its the same for takeover rumors as well. No rich Saudi benefactor or state sponsored businessman wants to invest in any Italian club aside some fancy publications by journalists for a few clicks.
We have to lower our expectations. I know we can do better and we certainly have to but its like Serie A is getting cordoned off into a league of its own far away from the mega rich PL clubs and oil money.
What a performance, what a result! A massive confidence booster ahead of a big month of April. Sempre forza Milan! 🔴⚫
