With the change to BST on Sunday 29 March, the evenings will be noticeably lighter. Consequently, starting Monday 30 March the car park will remain open until 8:00 pm (20:00). This will remain closing time until mid-September. As usual, car park unlocked each morning by 8:00 am.
Spring is here, Brimstone 🦋 on the Down on Tuesday! Volunteer activity Weds 4 March: raking up grass strimmed along top of Colin's Paddock &cutting back fence-line. Secateurs, loppers & small saws handy along stout boots& gloves. Meet in car park at 2pm, refreshments later. 😊
We are seeing first signs of Spring; snowdrops & aconites & some daffodils in flower. The days are also lengthening both morning & evening. Car park closing time changing to 6pm Monday 16th February. This will stay in place til late March/early April. Opening time remains 8am 😊
