For me, the one that has frustrated me for years is you one on Milk & Cheese. I mean, these numbers are all bad. We take a shit ton from you, but when our upper Midwestern farmers want consideration to just compete, you slap on nearly 300%. I don't get it, and we pay for your defense on top of this.
On this date in 1989, Pete Rose was permanently banned from baseball by Commissioner Bart Giamatti for betting on baseball games.
BITE-SIZED FACT | Giamatti died just eight days later at the age of 51 after suffering a heart attack. #80s#mlb
If you had trusted the settled science of the day, here is how it would have gone.
1890s: you dose the baby with Bayer's new cough syrup, the non-addictive alternative to morphine, marketed for children. It was heroin. They named it after the German for heroic.
1900s: you rub calomel teething powder on your infant's gums. It is a mercury compound, and it leaves a generation with pink disease. Swollen, peeling hands and feet, screaming for months, and some of them died.
1910s: you cook in Crisco, launched by a soap and candle company, because cottonseed oil is modern and lard is what your mother used. The process that made it solid produced trans fat, banned outright a century later.
1920s: you drink Radithor, certified radioactive water, on prescription. Eben Byers took fourteen hundred bottles for his vitality. His jaw was removed in pieces and he was buried in a lead coffin.
1930s: a chemist dissolves a new sulfa drug in diethylene glycol, which is antifreeze. It kills 107 people, mostly children, and only then does America give the FDA power to demand safety testing.
1940s: your doctor lights a Camel in the surgery. More doctors smoke them than any other brand, and the advert runs in the Journal of the American Medical Association, which sold him the page.
1950s: DDT is sprayed over your kitchen, your garden and your children at school. The man who found its insecticidal properties has already been given a Nobel Prize.
1960s: your wife takes thalidomide for morning sickness because it is remarkably safe. More than ten thousand children are born with missing and shortened limbs.
1970s: the country puts down the butter and picks up the margarine, on the instruction of the American Heart Association. The fat everybody switched to was banned in 2015 as unsafe at any level.
1980s: the fat comes out of everything and sugar goes back in to make it edible. Obesity begins a climb it has never come off.
1990s: your father is prescribed OxyContin, because fewer than one per cent get addicted. The company later pleads guilty to criminal misbranding, and the overdose count runs into hundreds of thousands.
2000s: you take Vioxx for your knee. It is pulled in 2004, and the FDA's own safety officer estimates tens of thousands of excess heart attacks.
Not one of those was fringe. Every one had a professional body, a literature and a man in a white coat standing behind it.
Nobody who followed that advice was stupid. They were obedient, to the most qualified people available.
Settled is a word about money. It means the questions stopped being funded, so they stopped being asked.
So which of today's instructions will your grandchildren read out in disbelief.
The oil washed in hexane and built into every cell you own. The statin that blocks the pathway making your hormones, to prevent one heart attack per hundred people. The injection where a third of the loss is muscle. The infant formula built out of vegetable oil.
All settled. None of it funded to be otherwise.
November 14, 1970 — Greenville, North Carolina.
For a few minutes, don’t remember how their story ended.
Remember how they lived.
This film captures one drive from the final game of the 1970 Marshall Thundering Herd.
Marshall trailed East Carolina 14-7 in the third quarter when Ted Shoebridge took over.
Starting at the Marshall 24, Shoebridge drove the Herd 76 yards in just seven plays.
On 3rd-and-21 from the Marshall 13, he found Bob Harris for 48 yards.
A few plays later, Shoebridge found Harris again to move Marshall inside the 20.
Then he found Jack Repasy in the end zone.
Touchdown, Marshall.
14-14.
Marshall ultimately fell 17-14.
We know what happened after the game.
But for these few minutes of film, that isn’t the story.
Ted Shoebridge is still throwing a football.
Bob Harris is still making a play.
Jack Repasy is still catching a touchdown.
Their teammates are still running onto the field to celebrate.
They’re young men playing the game they loved, wearing Marshall across their helmets and fighting for one another.
When the game was over, they boarded a plane home with their coaches, university staff, family, friends and members of the Marshall community.
There were 75 aboard.
Every one of them had a name.

More than half a century later, we still say their names.
We still tell their stories.
And as long as there is a Thundering Herd, we will remember them.
We Are Marshall. 🦬💚
The same people who lectured you to wear a mask when you entered a restaurant and then said you could take the mask off at your table during Covid to eat also believe men can become women and compete in women’s sports. Exact. Same. People.
If you are grown ass adult defending Dr. Fauci and his ridiculous Covid rules in 2026, then do all us all a favor and watch this.
Then dispute it. You can't. Enough already.
Hello Hunter Biden.
Thank you for sharing your views on the oil and gas business.
We know you worked for foreign oil and gas entities primarily Ukraine’s Burisma and China’s CEFC China Energy.
This is interesting given your lack of measurable talent or experience in this business.
Burisma Holdings is the Ukrainian natural gas producer that put you on their Board of Directors in April 2014 - again despite your lack of talent or experience - while your father oversaw U.S. Ukraine policy as Vice President.
You earned approximately $1 million per year ($83,333 per month) but that was reduced to roughly $500,000 per year starting March 2017 when your father was no longer in office.
You served until April 2019 - which is surprising despite your lack of talent or experience - but it was a good gig while you had it.
You and your associates (including partner Devon Archer) earned approximately $6.5 million for being your father's son.
Not too bad for not having any experience in the energy sector or any discernible talent in deal making.
But lets not forget your work with the Chinese.
You worked for CEFC China Energy, the Chinese oil and gas conglomerate with reported CCP and military intelligence ties from 2017–2018.
CEFC and related entities paid approximately $4.8 million to companies controlled by you and your Uncle.
Your total work for for CEFC and related Chinese energy entities to the Biden family/associates was over $8 million.
These figures come from bank records, IRS search warrant applications, congressional memos, court documents, and contemporaneous reporting.
(We will leave out your work with Kahzhakstan and other questionable enterprises.)
And what is surprising to all of us is that after earning nearly $20 million working for foreign owned oil and gas companies when you post stupid things like this it is clear that after 10 years and $20 million dollars.
YOU STILL DON"T UNDERSTAND THE OIL AND GAS BUSINESS.
But thank you for sharing your views anyway.
Good luck on your comeback tour.
It is inarguable that the war in Iran is a massive drag on Trump’s numbers, as well as those of the Republican party heading into November. This is largely driven by consistently high gas prices, which also drive up the price of everything else.
Trump obviously knows this, which is why he’s been searching for an off ramp for months. He knows he was elected to get gas prices down and the economy in shape (which he did until the war jammed up the gears).
But a major problem for Trump’s presidency right now is that nearly everyone outside his inner pushing for this war—and this includes the entirety of so-called conservative pundits who never found a war they weren’t willing to make others fight and pay for—also hates Trump (and especially Vance) and sees the war’s negative effect on his popularity as a secondary benefit of the war they’ve been salivating over for decades. To them, his declining numbers are a feature, not a bug.
With the Iran war, the NeverTrump neocons have gotten everything they ever dreamed of—war (which they love), and a massive political quagmire for Trump which threatens to consume the rest of his presidency and destroy any future political chances of J.D. Vance and the entire MAGA/America First movement.
These people, and this includes most GOP senators, believe that Trump/MAGA is just a fever that will eventually break, and all they have to do is wait it out and then take over what’s left of the party after that. They don’t care if Republicans lose in the mid-terms in November. In fact, they’d welcome it. They would much rather rule over the wreckage than continue having to take a back seat to Trump or his successor.
This is why they refuse to pass the SAVE America Act. It’s why they’ve been blocking recess appointments and slow-walking the entire nominations process since the very first day of this presidency.
Washington Republicans very much prefer the minority, where they get all the perks of power but none of the obligations or accountability. They can go on their taxpayer-funded junkets and slip provisions into Democrat-written bills for their benefit of their K Street lobbyist donors without having to actually pass anything their voters demand. When you’re in the minority, you don’t have to spend all your time lying to your own voters about why you can’t do anything despite controlling the Congress, the White House, and the Supreme Court.
If November goes poorly, they’ll then leave Trump to fend for himself as a new Democrat Congress launches its latest series of hoaxes and investigations and impeachment circuses designed to make sure Trumpism as a movement in 2028 has no gas left in the tank. It will be the Russia hoax and the Ukraine impeachment hoax and the J6 hoax all over again.
The neocon war pimps and the RINO establishment would much rather Republicans lose in 2026 and 2028, allowing the establishment to rebuild the party in its own image heading into 2032, than watch the Trump/MAGA agenda succeed and lead to a third or maybe even a fourth term following victory in the presidential election in 2028.
This is the reality of the current political situation. The Iran war is a mess, it’s being pimped by people who are than happy to watch it destroy Trump’s presidency, and they are being completely dishonest about their own motivations as well as the political impact of the war going forward.
We are living through a massive information crisis in which at least half the population is being systematically misinformed, making any sane national debate increasingly difficult. Without a shared factual foundation, there is nothing to discuss. People are not merely drawing different conclusions from the same evidence. They are living in entirely different realities.
That is what makes the Fauci story so tragic. He caused untold harm, yet millions of people know almost nothing about it. We can debate precisely how large a role Fauci played in the creation of Covid, but half the country does not even know that Covid came from a lab. We are therefore several steps removed from the basic conditions required to have an intelligent discussion.
Other facts are even more black and white. Fauci’s private diary contradicts what he told the public. His own words reveal a man of almost limitless narcissism. These are not matters of interpretation. They are documented facts. Yet we still cannot have a national conversation about them because the media either refuses to report them or actively lies about them. Anyone who is not on Twitter, which is most people, may never encounter the underlying evidence at all.
The result is that I increasingly find it almost impossible to discuss any of this with ordinary people, whether family members, acquaintances, or people at events or birthday parties. Unless someone has followed the evidence closely, there is no common starting point. Before you can debate what happened, you first have to dismantle at least ten years of falsehoods and omissions.
I do not know how this ends, but it is not sustainable. A country cannot function indefinitely when its people are no longer capable of discussing almost anything beyond sports on the basis of shared factual knowledge.
Dr. Death Fauci lied about everything from the jab, to the death rate, to masks, to gain of function, to ivermectin - EVERYTHING!
All while pushing his deadly hospital protocol which was what caused all the needless casualties.
Covid should’ve been treated like a normal flu, but this egomaniac psychopath wanted fame and fortune, so he destroyed millions of lives.
Dr. Death Fauci is one of the most evil demons to ever walk this earth, right up there with Hitler.

The Reds have three SPs, aged 27 or younger, who have earned All-Star honors.
They have Elly De La Cruz, a 2-time All-Star by the age of 24. They have Sal Stewart, a 22-year-old rookie who is now an All-Star.
That's a great core! There is no excuse for them being this bad.
