💔😢 The son of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya appeared in tears, making an urgent appeal to the Arab world and the international community to intervene and save his father's life. He said that his father's only "crime" was saving the lives of the wounded and treating the injured.
He is calling for immediate action before it is too late, fearing that he may lose his father in prison under the harsh conditions he is enduring.
Don't let his story become just another passing headline. Share his voice and speak about him. A single word can make a difference, while silence saves no one.

🚨URGENT: Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya’s life is in immediate danger, Physicians for Human Rights Israel and his lawyer warned Saturday, after a prison visit revealed the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital bearing fresh, severe injuries to his head, eyes, ears, and neck, so disfigured his own attorney initially struggled to recognize him.
🔹Attorney Nasser Odeh, who saw Abu Safiya Thursday at the underground Rakefet interrogation facility in Nitzan Prison, said he arrived shackled hand and foot, escorted by masked guards, struggling to breathe and speak, unable to sit upright, and repeatedly on the verge of losing consciousness.
🔹Abu Safiya told him that after his Supreme Court appeal was heard June 10, four or five guards entered his solitary cell at Ganot Prison and beat him with a hammer and batons, and that since his June 24 transfer to Rakefet he has been beaten daily, losing consciousness several times without receiving medical treatment.
🔹“This is the last time you will see me,” he told his lawyer. “They brought me here to kill me. I don’t see myself surviving. This is the end.”
🔹PHRI notes the escalation in torture began directly after Abu Safiya challenged his detention in court. He has been held without charge since December 27, 2024, under Israel’s Unlawful Combatants Law.
🔹The group has appealed to Israel’s attorney general and prison service demanding his immediate transfer, an independent medical examination, and an urgent judicial visit “before it is too late.”

In 1970 the UK and Norway were roughly equal, almost no debt, and owned all their Public Services.
Now the UK owns nothing and has £3tn of debt.
While Norway still owns everything and has the equivalent of £10tn.
That's how privatisation 'works'.
Andy Burnham looks like he might cancel the NHS England contract with Palantir, they also have one worth 2.5x as much with the MoD.
RT if you want them both out of the UK.
This is a disgraceful move by @LloydsBank
Be under no illusion, it's an attack on all independent media in UK that doesn't tow the government line
If Lloyds doesn't sort this immediately, a widespread boycott campaign should ensue
Keith Starmer's resignation speech was simultaneously petty, ungracious, self congratulatory, tone deaf, self absorbed, solipsistic and obnoxious - just like the man himself.
@rochbarett@Morrisons I’ve had issues recently with @Morrisons . Their automated response is to ask you to DM them so they can look into it. Not sure what more information they need. It reeks of PR damage control.
