@PeterSweden7 No problem with the first two which were Pfizer but then had Moderna booster. Within hours I was suffering all the symptoms of Covid. That was three years ago and I still have the symptoms of long covid chronic fatigue being the worst. Refused to have any more boosters after that
@NormanBrennan@MariaBaird13 Channel 5 is my retreat when ITV and BBC are both showing drivel, can usually find clips from comedy shows back in the days when we were allowed to have a laugh without being attacked by the wokes
@kathrynhall_@Nigel_Farage I imagine ITV executives were crapping their pants at the thought of Nigel winning, scared of being accused of causing hysteria and mayhem amongst the wokes and remoaners if he won, so they rigged the votes. Never mind Nigel, you showed them all how a true gentleman behaves.

@MisterJez I see they've changed the wallpaper since Mrs Thatcher bought ready pasted vinyl from Fads when I worked there. Blimey that was some years ago, how time flies.
@CarolynTGray The older I get the more I dread winter, aching back and a dodgy hip is so painful in cold weather. If I could I'd hibernate from now until the spring, hate the long dark evenings too, miss chatting to my neighbours over the garden fence.
@Kilkeerock Those were the days of make do and mend. Worn sheets were turned ‘sides to middle’ old towels cut into squares to make face flannels, holes in socks darned, jumpers felted in the wash unpicked and the wool used to knit new ones, very little went to landfill in those days
@Kilkeerock Back in the 60’s when I lived in Pembury Guests had a scheme where you displayed a card in your window if you had a pair of shoes needing repair. A man collected them and returned them the following week. Does anyone else remember that?
@MartinKnight_ I remember him making what he called a baby’s head pudding AKA steak & kidney pudding but wrapped in a cloth and steamed instead of a basin. The way my mum used to make it, so delicious.
@MisterJez So sorry to hear this Jez. It must have been so harrowing for you but good the hospital did everything it could to help your dad and kept him comfortable and free from pain. Thinking of you at this sad time 🥲
@YesterdaysBrit1 Many a time I was fretting because the roast was over cooking and the kids were hungry. Last time I rang the pub and the landlord said he’s just leaving. I said tell him not to bother his dinner’s in the dog and it was - his face when he came home but he never did it again 😂
@MisterJez Haven’t been in there since my OH became housebound but I loved it, like walking into Aladdin’s cave. Found some good bargains in kitchenware and bed linen. Only problem with Fountains Park is the 1.5 hours allowed for parking isn’t long enough to do Homesense and M&S food.
